Reminiscencie
Reminiscencie ensemble was established in 2002 as a result of many years of professional research carried out by Štefan Filický (now deceased) and Radovan Timko.
During its existence, the ensemble has successfully completed many interesting chamber performances in Slovakia and abroad. The ensemble guarantees a cooperation at a high professional and artistic level, for example by adapting the program for various social events such as balls, corporate banquets, exhibition openings, cultural and social events at castles and chateaux, city festivals and even evening performances. All of our performances are accompanied by live music.
Program of the ensemble
The program of the ensemble is focused on demonstrations of historical musical and dance shows performed and danced during the renaissance and baroque at the European royal and aristocratic lands. It focuses mainly on demonstrations of creative and remarkable cultural gems in the field of music and dance, which were intended for the socially highest European classes during given period.
We create a unique historical atmosphere, mood and feeling using available preserved historical materials with an emphasis on the revival of interesting original musical records as well as choreographic recordings while adhering to the use of musical instruments of given period, costumes and props in a cultural and social context.
Since its origin, several musicians and dancers have changed in the ensemble. Among the first musicians were Peter Michalovič – 1st violin, Vlasta Veľasová Halašová – 1st violin, Tomáš Tomčala – 1st violin, Štefan Filický – 2nd violin, Dušan Kristiník – violoncello, Roman Kristiník – violoncello, Lucia Ukropcová Bohunická – vocals.
